Human Resources Officer Sourcing and Operations Antakya

Provide effective support and co-ordination to the HR Coordinator (Sourcing and Operations) with the full range of HR processes including induction, managing employee contracts, supporting recruitment, PF management, time sheet and leaves management
Be responsible for maintaining and updating core HR administrative systems including the HR Database, filing system, employment checks and insurance memberships. This post will provide the opportunity to become involved in a range of HR initiatives
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Recruitment and Selection
Draft/support vacancy announcement based on SC formats for approved recruitments
Participate in the national recruitment and facilitate international recruitment process
Ensure that all staff have a signed and current JP in there personnel file.
Develop and manage a JP databases that should be updated regularly
Collect and track recruitment Planner forms.
Organize interviews and Prescreening interviews.
Participate/facilitate in the national staff interviews and ensure transparency in the process
Check references and send regret to unsuccessful candidates
Ensure the recruitment files are complete and updated with every recruitment
Contract management of staff and volunteers (including staff contracts, extension, amendments)
Update national recruitment tracker
Personnel File Management
Ensure that all staff have a personnel file within a week of joining
Manage the personnel files and ensure they are up to date with all the required documents at all times
Ensure confidentiality of the personnel file – assess of files by only the HR Director or designated.
On board and Off boarding
Support in induction plans for all new starters
Create update on/off boarding tracker
Responsible for the creation and follow up of a leaver process
Work with Logistics to ensure SCI property is returned
Organize and if applicable conduct exit interview with the national staff.
Prepare date base and share with supervisor on regular basis
Time Sheets and Leaves Management
Following up time sheets with all staff
Check time sheets are properly filled out and update tracker
Support in effort reporting
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and or Business Administration or any other relevant discipline
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
Fluent in both written and spoken English and spoken Arabic or and Turkish
Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally
Demonstrated excellent skills in planning, coordination, and reporting skills, with the ability to organise a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities;
Proven operational HR experience of providing a generalist HR service to staff and colleagues across a full range of HR issues
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good Computer skills working with MS Office Packages especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work with limited supervision and strong ability to take initiative.
Good facilitation skills and ability to deliver induction briefing/training
Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
Excellent team player.
Any other duties as assigned by line manager or the designate
Experience in working with INGOs will be an asset
