ACTED (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) is an international NGO founded in 1993 and headquartered in Paris. ACTED implements projects in 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Central America and the Middle East.
ACTED currently has operations in northern Syria and Turkey. The activities include WASH, Non-Food Items, Food Security, Capacity Development, and Information Management in camps, urban and rural areas.
ACTED is currently looking for one candidate to fill in the position HR & Admin Assistant in Antakya, Turkey.
II. Duties/ Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of HR Manager, the incumbent carries out the following duties:
Serve under the direction of the HRM to process and properly document daily HR activities.
Assist in processing of employee attendance sheets into a routine,
Responsible for tracking annual leave days
Responsible for ensuring HR files and documentation of all staff are current.
Assist HRM the sorting and filing of resumes
Support HRM with FLAT to be complying in procedures of ACTED.
Ensure all guesthouses are managed and cleaned, assist in office utilities.
Responsible getting signs, distribute the documents and collect from the departments
Tracking new employees, preparing welcome packages and arranging ID cards.
Delivering items, mails and welcoming visitors.
Perform other duties as required.
Candidates must have:
University degree in administration or relevant department.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Turkish language, Arabic is a plus;
Computer skills are required, especially MS Office and internet.
Ability to meet deadlines and respect of time frame.
High sense of confidentiality and passion to work with staff member’s different national &cultural background.
Syrian nationals must hold AFAD card or residency.
Good communication skills.
